Configuration
Whether starting from scratch or adding new hardware to your existing infrastructure, the correct installation and initial configuration of your equipment is essential. Cornerstone IT Solutions has qualified and experienced technicians to correctly install and configure your entire IT infrastructure.
Maintenance and Helpdesk
To keep your equipment in good working order, it must be maintained, fine-tuned, updated and upgraded from time to time. Cornerstone IT Solutions works in partnership with your Company do this, and we offer regular Facility Maintenance Visits and a Helpdesk number for locally-based remote assistance for those jobs that cannot wait until our next visit.
Equipment "End-of-life-cycle" Planning
IT equipment does not last forever – significant advances are made each
year in both hardware and software and at some point, your IT resources
will need to be replaced. As a rule of thumb, we suggest a three year life
cycle. In this way the replacement can be planned managed correctly, and
budgeted for.
Of course, if an item is still performing reliably after three years in service
without showing any sign of imminent failure and the hardware is not critical
in the overall running of your business or network, you may wish to leave
that item in place. However, where items are critical to the running of
the business or there is doubt as to their continued reliability, we would
advise to have them replaced after this time.
Security and Confidentiality
The security of, and the appropriate access to, your company data is of the utmost importance to us. All of our engineers agree in writing to uphold our Confidentiality Policy prior to commencement of their employment with the Company and this Agreement extends indefinitely into the future. Signed copies of these Agreements are available to our clients upon request.
